We're looking for a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for operating material handling equipment with care and precision, ensuring all tasks are completed in alignment with OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) standards and company protocols.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Inventories materials on work floor and supplies workers with materials as needed.
- Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, electronic systems, or production schedules.
- Loads or unload materials onto or off of racks, pallets, skids, transport trucks or lifting devices.
- Lubricates truck, recharge batteries, fill fuel tank, or replace liquefied-gas tank.
- Provide components to the production line in a safe, timely and efficient manner
- Unload and load trucks as well as work in the yard sorting pallets
- Pick finished goods pallets from the production line and load into waiting trucks in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Return components to their designated locations in the racks
- Maintain good housekeeping of the warehouse, material handling equipment and production lines
- Operate equipment safely at all times to ensure personal safety, pedestrian safety, and integrity of finished goods
- Maintain material handling equipment, including batteries, in good working order, performing inspections daily prior to use
- Demonstrate strong understanding of WHMIS/GHS for safe handling of raw materials and other products
- Role includes tasks beyond forklift operation; candidates must be prepared to perform manual material handling and non-equipment duties
- Assist in other departments or perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor, regardless of assigned job title
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating both Reach Truck and Walkie forklifts
- Proven case picking experience, including consistent handling of individual cases and pallet building throughout the shift
- Valid Reach and Walkie Forklift Licenses required; candidates must present licenses during evaluation
- Must be physically fit, punctual, and reliable to meet the demands of a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong English communication skills, solid safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting are essential
- Candidates must be fully committed to this position and not currently employed in multiple roles
- A clear understanding of the job expectations and work schedule is required
- References must confirm valid reasons for seeking a new role
